After independence many schemes were started for the development of the country. In which the requirement of technicians was paramount‚ whose fulfilment was possible only through technical institutions. But at that time‚ there was acute shortage of technical institutions in the country. In such a situation‚ the establishment of some new technical institution was under the consideration of government. Now a days one of the main engines of growth for reshaping the domestic and international economies is engineering, along with professional education. Keeping in view these requirements‚ the ultimate visionary‚ Purvanchal Vikas Purush Brahmalin Mahant Digvijay Nath Ji Maharaj established Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad‚ whose purpose was to remove the backwardness of the eastern region and to educate the people.
We are looking forward to the "Centres of Excellence", this institute fosters an environment that is very different from exam-focused rote learning by encouraging students to engage in creative knowledge exploration through practical activities that enable "learning by doing".
Since the institute is in its inception, we have developed all required infrastructure for conducting academics, laboratories and other activities. The curriculum will be taught by qualified, skilled, and experienced faculty so that we are able to develop the required skills in buddy technocrats which are necessary to meet all real-life application. I believe in continuous up gradation of teaching and learning process to meet the demands of the frequently changes related to industries.

Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology is an expression of a great vision enshrined in the philosophy of Param Pujya Brahmleen Digvijay Nath Ji Maharaj who saw education as a means of social and economic transformation for the people of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. With this end in view, he set up Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad Society as a means of economic and social emancipation of masses through the means of education. The Parishad has now fifty seven institutions under its aegis and Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology is an important landmark in the onward journey of this benevolent organization.
The aim of Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology is to impart quality education in the field of Engineering and Technology to its incoming students. It has opened departments in the key areas of Engineering with the highest possibilities of employment. It has kept in view the employment prospects of passing out graduates in the main branches of Engineering as well as in the key emerging branches with the possibility of greatest employment generation. It is believed that the students will skillfully evaluate the possibilities of their growth and development and enter the portals of this institution in their own interest.
There is nothing more than an institution can do than to provide quality education in the emerging fields of technological advancement.
