Cancellation & Refund Policy

Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology — Centre of Excellence (CoE) Programmes

Effective Date: 13 June 2026  •  Applies to all MPIT CoE Programme fee payments

  This policy applies to all fee payments made for MPIT Centre of Excellence (CoE) Programmes including AI Lab, Cyber Security Lab, Drone Technology Lab and 3D Printing Lab courses. Please read this policy carefully before completing your registration and payment.

1. General Policy

All fees paid for MPIT CoE programmes are generally non-refundable once the enrollment is confirmed and the student has been allotted a batch. Students are advised to carefully review the course details, schedule, eligibility and fees before completing the registration process.

By proceeding with fee payment on this platform, the student / applicant agrees to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

2. Cancellation by the Student

Before batch start date — within 7 days or less No refund
After batch has started (any reason) No refund
Mid-course dropout No refund
  No refund will be issued for non-attendance, personal schedule conflicts, change of mind, or failure to meet course prerequisites after enrollment.

3. Cancellation by MPIT CoE

In the event that MPIT Centre of Excellence cancels a course or batch due to operational, technical or administrative reasons, students will be offered one of the following at their choice:

  • Full refund of the fee paid, processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment source; or
  • Transfer to the next available batch of the same course at no additional charge.
  MPIT CoE will notify students via registered email and phone at least 3 days in advance in the event of batch cancellation.

4. Payment Failure / Technical Issues

If a payment is deducted from your bank account / UPI / card but the registration is not confirmed on the portal:

  • The amount will typically be auto-reversed by your bank or payment processor within 5–7 working days.
  • If the amount is not reversed after 7 working days, please contact us at coempit@gmail.com with your transaction reference number and date of transaction.
  • MPIT CoE will coordinate with the payment gateway (Worldline) to resolve the issue within 10 working days of receiving your complaint.

5. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds are credited to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, credit/debit card) used at the time of payment.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days of approval.
  • MPIT CoE will send a refund confirmation to the student's registered email address once processed.
  • The actual credit may take an additional 2–5 working days depending on your bank's processing time.

6. Offline Payment Courses (Drone & 3D Printing Labs)

For courses where fees are collected in-person at the MPIT CoE office (Drone Technology Lab and 3D Printing Lab):

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the CoE office.
  • Refunds (if applicable as per Section 2) will be processed via cheque or bank transfer within 10 working days.
  • Cash refunds are not provided; refunds are only processed to a verified bank account.

7. Course Transfer / Deferral

A student may request a one-time batch transfer (deferral to the next batch) subject to the following conditions:

  • The request must be submitted at least 5 days before the batch start date.
  • The transfer is subject to availability of seats in the next batch.
  • Only one transfer is permitted per enrollment; no further transfers or refunds will be allowed after a batch transfer.
  • Batch transfer requests must be sent to coempit@gmail.com with your enrollment ID and reason.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Registration / processing fees (if any, charged separately)
  • Fees paid for courses already completed or partially attended
  • Fees for courses where the student has been issued a certificate
  • Any payment made after receiving a final enrollment confirmation email

9. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To initiate a cancellation or refund request, contact us through any of the following:

  • Enrollment ID / Registration number
  • Registered email address
  • Transaction ID / payment reference number
  • Reason for cancellation

10. Changes to This Policy

MPIT Centre of Excellence reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Students are encouraged to review this policy before each enrollment.

11. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
